The greatest validation I can get as to how correct I am is to have you chime in to the contrary.

I'm with you on Schwieger. Loyola totally changed recruiting philosophies and he got left behind because he was one of Porter's guys. He's going to be what we all hoped Duax and Wolf were except he's 6-7 and can really rebound from the wing.
I put Mudrafan on "ignore" a couple of years ago or so mostly because he's a mean-spirited angry and bitter old man, but one of the funniest and most amazing things I've ever read online in any context was when he wrote that he feels he knows just as much about basketball as our current staff because he's 92 years old and has watched basketball all his life.

And that's just slight hyperbole (I really don't know how old he actually is), but he really did write something to that effect. It's to this day one of the most jaw-dropping things I've ever read online.

I do realize that. But that Loyola team was terrible. This year, when the team was much better, he didn't contribute much. That isn't saying he can't contribute on a good team. But so far he hasn't. Perhaps he just didn't fit in the coach's system once he got his guys in there. Who knows?

Hutty didn't even play on that terrible team.

            • I think most of these projections are severely underrating Bond. This is the best recruit UNI has ever had, including AJ Green.

By most accounts, this should be Bond’s team. And Jake saying he’s going let him develop that shot from outside (something he literally wasn’t allowed to do at Virginia) only leans more into him being a GUY.

              Heres my guess:

              G: Campbell, Taylor, Weisbrod, Schmit
              W: Bond, Tytan, Schweiger, Pock
              C: Hutson, Rubin

Who starts and minutes are too early to guess. But Jake and the staff love RJ and Campbell. If both start, i assume Schweiger would come off the bench?

I'd expect Weisbrod and Schwieger are the first guys off the bench, unless Jake decides to start Weisbrod at the point instead of RJ, but I doubt that happens.

If Taylor starts at pg then this will be the worst team ben has had and that’s saying something because they haven’t been good in years

Who comes off as the insensitive, shot throwing, rules violating curmudgeon now? Your post did nothing to advance the subject except flame a lifelong Panther that has been on here since day 1

                    • My calculations say if RJ starts in the 3rd, 8th, 25th and 32nd game, and plays 25:45, 32:34,18:43, and 39:59 respectively, we could possibly be one of the best teams in the Country.

                      • Sundance Wicks is leaving Green Bay to take the Wyoming job.

Cole Henry is eligible to enter the portal again. He's not coming back but it will be interesting to see if Wicks wants him in Laramie.

I was incredibly curious what domino's would fall in that situation. This doesn't shock me.

Perfect name for the the Cowboys.

Imagine Wyoming's marketing department is a happy office today.

                              • Not sure what this says about me/how I grew up, I didn't know Doug Gottlieb was a coach. I just knew him from radio as the occasional sub for Jim Rome.
