Re: BracketBusters
Question for Siena fans:
What kind of crowd can we expect at the game? How big is your basketball facility, does it routinely sell out, etc? Thanks[/QUOTE]
Kind of what I expected ... we have out share of posters who just are in it to stir things up.
Siena plays in an arena that they have configured to seat around 8k. They've averaged around 7k for the year, but that number is a little bit distorted by an intra-city game with UAlbany that drew around 15k. (if I remember correctly) Obviously the entire arena was open for that game.
I would expect in the 7k to 7500 range for this game, maybe more depending on the start time. If it's a 7:00 start, the place will sell out. I think I read yesterday that the game takes place during Siena's winter break, so there probably wont be very many students.
Best of luck from now until the game, would love to see two teams on long winning streaks and dominating their respective leagues matchup ... should be a great game.
