No, but they went on sale today to the general public at the IEC (dahlstickets.com) website. My guess is the only seats available are in the upper rafters like all tickets to any event the way ticket sales are done these days.

i am asking because i am curious why non-season ticket holding UNI fans werent given the chance to buy seats in the UNI section like iowa fans were.

can't be the ticket office's fault...

Yeah...the ticket office decides what to do with the tickets that athletic department was given....not the athletic deparmtnet/psc

I think you reward your season ticket holders with first crack at tickets to this "classic". If you don't then you risk what happened with the NCAA tourney / Sweet 16 a couple years ago where PSC / season ticket holders couldn't even get tickets, or had worse seats than some bandwagoner who thought it the "cool" thing to do...to support UNI as the sole NCAA team that year. That alienates those that put their money where their mouth is time after time, year after year. Keep them happy and reward them for being a supporter through thick and thin. It's smart. Now, this "classic" is much more of a dud IMO and I wouldn't be surprised to see the AD open up tix for sale at some point once season ticket holders / PSC members have had an opportunity to purchase. I'm a season ticket holder and PSC member and I won't be purchasing, btw.

I think 9yer's point is why weren't PSC/season ticket holders given first priority for best tickets and then open up to other fans. I doubt it's because PSC/season ticket holders bought them all.

From a financial standpoint it doesn't really matter how many we sell does it? We get a quarter of the gate regardless.
"I think they're very good," Farley said of the preseason top 25 Hawkeyes. "But so are we."

Gotcha...but do we know they won't open it up? I just figured they would at some point, especially if tix aren't selling well to season tix holders.

Stop using the term season ticket holders/PSC members. They are not the same thing. PSC members were not given a chance to buy tickets, only season ticket holders were.

And I think that is a mistake. Should have been season ticket holding PSC members get first dibs and best seats, then PSC members who don't hold season tickets, then anyone in the general public if tickets still available IMO.

Agreed. I kept waiting then, hearing nothing, went outside the UNI AD to find a ticket. Actually ended up with pretty awesome tickets I would not have received from UNI. So... thank you for not asking me to sit in the UNI section.

Anyone know if they'll be playing the interlude at this event? That might be fun to show it off a bit in front of the other fans.

Iowa fans will be performing their traditional "arms crossed while looking vacantly at the scoreboard" dance as well. I think they save it for after we jump out to an early lead on them.

Find out what the other team wants to do, then take it away from them.
