  • Late game recap. St Mary’s lost to Gonzaga, but St Mary’s probably not a bubble team anymore anyway. Utah St lost at New Mexico - could be big for us. UCLA (who is apparently a bubble team now) beat Arizona after Sean Miller couldn’t keep his cool, got ejected, and his team folded down the stretch.

They are #1 in the Pac-12, which isn't like being #1 in the Big Ten or ACC, but it'll still get you into the tourney. But yeah, overall, it's still a rough day for us overall as it relates to bubble jockying.

      • Quick look at who to root for today...

        SMU over Wichita
        Houston over Cincy
        Georgetown over Xavier
        St Louis over Rhode Island
        Wisconsin over Minnesota
        Illinois over Indiana

        Adding Colorado over Stanford

        • The bubble has been terrible to us the past 4-5 days. It’s about time the majority of those teams lose.

          • Good start to the UNI Bubble Watch as Houston is beating Cincy by 15 with 2 minutes to go.

That's a final, Houston won by double digits, so as far as NET's concerned, as bad a loss as Cincinnati could have.

Elsewhere, St Louis is beating Rhode Island by 12 with 14 minutes to go. Not over yet, but would mean that Rhode Island is in that spot that a lot of pundits say UNI would be at, "'In' if today was selection sunday, 'out' if they take one more necessary loss."

            • So, if SLU gets the win at URI, does that vault SLU onto the bubble?

              • Not really relevant to our at large chances but Creighton lost by 20 to St Johns that’s always fun to see

                • Cincinnati and Rhode Island both taking double digit losses today helps a little in boosting UNI up the pecking order. URI lost by 10 at home, which will drop them further in the NET.

                  • Xavier winning doesn't help. Indiana lost, but only by a point - and a 1 point Big Ten road loss probably counts the same as a 15 point road win for us, so we'll see how that plays out.

Not with a NET that was in the high 60s coming into today. The only A-10 schools besides Dayton that were seen as at-large were Richmond and Rhode.

                      • SMU had a huge lead at one point but are choking it hard, only lead the shockers by 2 at the under four.

                        • That's disappointing on SMU's part, thanks for nothing, ya jerks.

They were up by 21 in the 2nd half.

Makes me wonder if Jankovich's seat might be getting hot.

Both these teams are terrible. Actually, the entire PAC 12 is terrible, yet they will get several teams in the dance.
