Looks like UNI is switching away from the Nebraska MTE to Sioux Falls.
Per Rothstein: "Sources: Northern Iowa is replacing Texas A&M in the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic in South Dakota."
"Updated Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic bracket:
West Virginia/Northern Iowa
Saint Mary's/Memphis
Creighton/South Dakota State
Utah State/Wichita State"

Hello! I have tickets for the Crossover Classic for Game 5 and Game 12 that I'm looking to sell for face value. I live in Wisconsin and have decided not to make the trip to Sioux Falls anymore. Email me at [email protected] if interested!

I'm not overly surprised we moved on from the Nebraska MTE. This field is loaded. Creighton is preseason #11, WV #15, Memphis barely missed the top 25.To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

All these games are on ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU. We've officially signed - the WVU game will be Wednesday at 1 on ESPN.Originally posted by 1994grad View PostDoes anyone know if these games will be televised? To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

Nick Petaros Twitter feed with some good info today (it's Media Day?). Apparently we turned down this MTE two weeks ago, and everything came together within the last 24 hours to get back in. Also, Gonar Mar's waiver was denied. They've appealed, but don't expect to hear back until after the MTE.To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

"'This all happened in the last 24 hours,' UNI coach Ben Jacobson said Wednesday afternoon. 'This wasn’t something that we were looking for. This opportunity came up two weeks ago when the Sioux Falls tournament had somebody pull out because of COVID. They called us and asked us if we would take their place two weeks ago and I told them no.
'We had given our word to Nebraska, we had our two opponents, they understood that and they moved on and we moved on.'
While Jacobson admitted he wasn't going to go into all the details publicly, he said a little bit of uncertainty surfaced Tuesday with regard to his team's second opponent at the Nebraska event. Later Tuesday, tournament organizers in Sioux Falls randomly called to see if UNI would be interested in taking Texas A&M's place in their field after the Aggies dropped out of their event."
Entire read:
"Well, that escalated quickly."

I tell ya what, it is kind of nice to see a top tier event like this reach out to us not once, but twice, even after being rejected the first time. A lot of that may have been logistics, but it shows a lot of respect to our program regardless imo.To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.
