Yeah, that was not lost on me, either. Cole has done so much for UNI. Is great to see this.Originally posted by not a drake fan View Post
This was the part that I was not looking forward to - him being listed as a former cyclone every time he was mentioned anywhere. At the end of the day, I don't think he ever wanted to be anything other than a UNI Panther.
It's been interesting these last few years listening to Cy fans in my life and online saying that AJ would have been a role player at ISU, or saying that he wouldn't be an impact player in the Big 12. But they thought they were gonna land him, they changed their tune on that quick. Not going to lie, I enjoyed seeing him drag all those fans along for months only to turn them down at the last moment.
Whether you think AJ or Tuttle is the greatest Panther ever, you're not wrong. He's certainly on the Mount Rushmore. I hope he achieves everything he wants to accomplish.
And it was nice of AJ to let Cole break the news since he's the closest thing we have to a beat writer.
"Well, that escalated quickly."

I hope AJ can play in the NBA - even if it's just for a few plays. UNI has had a couple of false starts but never had anyone actually play in the NBA. I'm just glad he didn't end up in Ames."And immediately, (P'Allen Stinnett's) Facebook status was spouting vulgarities towards the university."

He just feels like the kind of kid we get. Completely unimpressive list of offers and little buzz. I'm probably extrapolating a little bit.Originally posted by DownGoesKansas View Post
Gotcha. I just am skeptical until we hear of an offer. We've been connected to others but offers were never mentioned

A little seasoning in the G League. He'll get there.Originally posted by CincyPanther88 View PostI hope AJ can play in the NBA - even if it's just for a few plays. UNI has had a couple of false starts but never had anyone actually play in the NBA. I'm just glad he didn't end up in Ames.
