At most it would be very similar pay. He's making roughly 350k at ISU, I'd expect that number to be in the ballpark of what the new guy gets.

I think if we want stability we go with Tuttle. Is he ready for the big chair I don't know, but I always felt like the players liked him and he seemed like a good coach and recruiter. Do we go outside to hire? I think at the mid major level stability is important. I think Jack getting a taste of the tournament this year again has really made him realize in the MVC it's not a easy thing to do, and at his age does he want to wait 10 years again to have that chance. If there wasn't such a thing as NIL we wouldn't even be talking about this right now. As much as I love UNI the new world of NIL has ruined college basketball. Jake is a good coach, but I'm sure he's constantly dealing with bigger schools trying to deplete his roster, and for the most part he's done a good job at retaining his players. I will miss him, but I get why he left too. I hope everything works out for him and us going forward. I will be a Utah State fan.
