I hope AJ finds a school which fits what he wants out of his college experience. If it is not UNI, then that is just fine!

AJ Green has a chance to be one of our biggest recruits ever. He should be priority #1 until he decides.

Lot of fretting for no reason. If AJ picks a school based on bb it will be UNI. If his picked is based on academics he should pick the best school that matches his area of interest while at the same time offering him a free ride in exchange for playing bb, which for many fields will not necessarily be UNI. Nothing that can be done about it if that is the case but to wish him well. Now if he picks an inferior academic school with an inferior bb program just because it is in a money conference that would be a bad decision, but I just don't see it happening.

In any event he knows UNI better than just about any kid we have ever offered, there is really nothing more the coaches can do at this point.

Ok people. You have a son that is probably the top recruit in his year class in Iowa. You are a top assistant at a school you pitch to recruits as the best place to further their education and to compete on a championship team and play successfully in the Big Dance. Your son chooses another school. How much credibility do you lose with your other recruits?

Look at it this way, the kid has a great chance of playing significant minutes at UNI because his mother sleeps with one of the coaches.🙄

Haha, and the NCAA can't do anything about it!

Maybe we could have his dad up his allowance by 10-20k per year....we should give our head assistant a pay raise..

TjRushing is a great follow on Twitter if people don't know. Just a few tweets on AJ from yesterday. I'm afraid he's gonna blow up this summer.

AJ Green lighting it up early, starts game off with a triple, and just created his own look hits anther contested 3. Oohs and ahhs #BatL2016

AJ Green is doing what he was doing at the state tourney; dazzling. He has 11 1H points, butter from deep. 40-18 'Stormers #BatL2016

AJ Green picking up where he left off at state; jaw-dropping good. Gonzaga, Nebraska, Minnesota interest #BatL2016 https://t.co/s77pTjhGMb

My phone is blowing up with AJ Green texts from @PrepHoops staff -- "kid is cold".....turning heads here at @PrepHoopsBatL

I think we've always known AJ was going to grow into a great player. IT's always come down to what his priorities are. Does he love UNI and want to play for his dad, or does he have other aspirations? Either way, good for him.

Then you tell the kid you hope his dad can catch on at Gonzaga also.

Gonzaga isn't the one that could get him out of Cedar Falls. When we start hearing Duke, UNC, KU, UK, Michigan State we can start worrying.

Of course UNI has a winning record against those schools.
