  • Lost Sharar...gained Caleb Frazier.

Was Wisconsin large school all-state RB as a junior and senior I believe.

      • The DMR came out with their final top 50 ranking of in-state recruits. UNI is in on several undecided players. One of them is Ashton Cook, the QB from IC Regina. He’s Marv Cook’s son and a tall kid with a big arm who’s a decent athlete. The QB from Ankeny we discussed earlier, Bauer, committed to Central Michigan per the article.

        • Last signee for today was a late add
Sergio Morancy, a 3 star, 6’3” Wideout from Fla.
          3 Big Receivers, 6’4”, 6’3” and 6 ft., Huge O-Line and Big athletic D-Line.
the Big Oline should help maximize Kamara and Williams in the near future. The Big receivers should assist the Line and give a huge advantage to our Talented QB room. Looking forward to it!

          • Another good looking class on their way to Cedar Falls.

About 60/40 mix on Iowa kids vs out of state.

4 FBS transfers...3 on D and on OL.

Will be interesting to see if anyone else from KU ends up at UNI as they have a lot in the transfer portal and we have landed 3 thus far.

The addition of Dylan Boles was interesting. DL is always a tough spot to recruit for at the FCS level so great to add someone like that.

The WR from Florida looks real interesting and the kid from Peoria is a big target as well.

Jaylin Williams could play either side of the ball.

Like the DL Ethan George from Missouri. He looks like he could be a menace on the DL.

Kamara will be a fun guy to watch in the Dome as well. Could use him a lot of different ways.

Like the DB Olowo from Twin Cities along with Sapp and Governor transferring in. That Secondary room is loaded.

The staff continues to get talent to CF.

Hope he thrives in CF, with a chip on his shoulder, after things didn't work out with KSU. Great kid who will do big things for us if he keeps grinding.

              • Pretty impressive list of athletes coming to the dome. Makes me excited for Feb.
This incoming class has a great balance of transfers, size, development, immediate impact players and skill. Props to the coaching staff for identifying this class and putting ink to paper! Now LFG!

Since I was looking through recruiting rankings, I was wondering who our highest rated recruit was. To my surprise, it was Jayden Williams. I've never heard his name called. And looking on the roster, he's not there. Even more strange is that, as of October 27th, he retweeted himself in UNI gear (granted, it was a retweet of someone's jersey editing side hustle and he just happened to be in it, but still). Is he associated with the team at all still? Does anyone know what happened to the highest rated recruit in UNI football history?

I doubt Jayden ever made it to campus unfortunately. The chaos and disruption of COVID his senior spring at Valley pretty much did him in. There were already issues that led to him not going to K-State but that spring/summer exacerbated some of those issues unfortunately. If he had made it here and gotten into a reliable routine I think he'd have done great things before likely transferring to a P6 when eligible.

He's a great kid and I just hope he's happy and healthy in whatever he is doing. I was really excited for the stars to align with him before the whole world got crazy.
