Well, 11 scholarships are better than 10, but we just can't seem to buy a post guy.

With Phyfe back and apparently healthy, we don't really need a big in this class. We can get 15 minutes out of Henry, Betz and Courbat.

We can, but all three of those are a huge drop off and need development. I hope Austin has a First team MVC type season.

Phyfe when healthy and has experienced guard play has already shown he's a first team MVC guy. He will be that guy again this year. Keep in mind too the bias aren't nearly as good as they were when he did that.

Not horribly impressed by his youtube videos, and if those kids who he's playing against are "older" than him...wherever he's playing doesn't have much talent at least in those videos. Maybe it was the lack of fundamental defense..idk..his dribbling didn't seem MM d1 level but maybe I'm just spoiled with the Kwadzo, and greens of UNI. I just personally wasn't Impressed..but glad we at least got someone. Hope he shines well. We need it!

Peksari's stats indicate he's a decent shooter. About 73 percent from the line and only 1/15 from 3 in a few games. I haven't seen him play. So, who knows?

Found some game replay on Peksari. He hit a decent amount of 3 balls. He is a little stiff handling the ball. He occasionally got to the rim and made some decent passes. He might be our 9th guy, but hard to say.

In this world, I'm not surprised at all... I don't understand how anybody doesn't like it. We rarely heard about even interest in guys outside of Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota, all the sudden it seems to be everywhere - Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, Turkey, etc.

I've watched more video on Peksari. I think he'll be ok. He isn't as good as Born, Heise, Duax, Wolf, or Campbell, but the kid can play. He's a decent shooter and passer much like what he has been playing against. He seems a bit stiff, but I think he can give us 7 decent minutes a night.

pre Covid illness Austin was a first team All Conference player. Multiple time on the All Valley team.

The recent reports are he is healthier than he’s been in years and could/should be pre Covid health come fall

Regardless of where Phyfe is I don't think having another big would be the worst thing in the world lol.

We actually look pretty good in terms of wings, but another ball handler and big would be nice to have.
