2023-24 Basketball Schedule

USF released their full schedule and updated the date for our game down there to Sunday, November 19th.

I'm all for getting it off of a home football Saturday.

I was guessing we'd try to get another game in the south east when we played USF, but looks like that'll just be the start of the B4A trip.

Michigan-Memphis has leaked as one of the first round games at B4A.

I'm assuming we'll play Arkansas.

Our first game is at 11:00 AM on ESPN.

We couldn't have asked for a better draw. Shocked we didn't get Arkansas.

Bacot is back for his COVID year but Caleb Love is gone and they hit the portal pretty hard but didn't get any marquee names. They'll be Carolina but they aren't CAROLINA.

UNC returns two starters, and only nobody else who averaged 10+ min/game. They have two other returners who averaged between 5-10 min/game last year, but regardless, that's not a lot of returning minutes. I know nothing about their additions, but being so early in the season, I'd like to think we'll have a big advantage when it comes to playing together and knowing the system. I'm sure they'll be bigger, faster and stronger - that's what you get when you play a team like UNC.

To be fair to the preseason number one ranking for UNC last year. They were just in the national title game the year before and were returning a ton of their main contributors. I think last year says a lot about Hubert Davis as a coach, honestly.
