    I just don't see it.
Where are his other offers from?

He reminds me of that guy from SFA that we played a while back (6'6 white guy who played in the post, he was the best palyer at SFA). Not that Carter would be that good, but a guy who's undersized at the 4 but able to figure out ways to produce.
      Thomas Walkup

I don't hate that comp. Walkup certainly didn't blow you away athletically but was a better ballhandler. Carter probably a better natural shooter.

He had major leg surgery so a lot of teams have stayed away and now things are picking up again. Offers he has got are SD State, Drake, UNI, North Dakota, Lehigh, Truman State and air force. Will not suprise me if he blows up for the July AAU season.

If a true Walkup equivalent was available, I'd camp out at his front door til he signed.

That dude was a great college hoops player.

Interesting that they offered Carter before Cole Henry of Oskaloosa.

Update on Noah Carter from Iowa Preps.

Iowa boys basketball coverage: Prospect Update: Noah Carter (2019). Prep Hoops, Jul 10, 2018.

              Some highlights.

“I’m very happy in the position I’m in right now, but it would be very cool to open up the eyes of some of these high-major schools, and maybe get a chance there. I think that’d be pretty cool, and I think I’m good enough to do that,” said Carter.

“During high school season, I’m more of a four and five, so this offseason, I’ve really been working on my guard skills, like my ball-handling and attacking from the outside,” said Carter. “That’s the biggest thing I’ve been working on, because in college I’ll be an undersized four, so I’ll need to play a little bit of the three position.”

“I know I’m going to play out July and then just take it from there,” Carter said. “I’m hoping to commit before my high school season, but I’m not sure yet.”

Looks like at least one UNI assistant watching D1 Minnesota/Brooklyn Elite. Not sure who they are watching on D1 Minnesota. Starting 5 are all committed or P5 level for sure.

                Hurt - Top 5 recruit
                McCaffrey - Iowa commit
                Wahl - ISU/Wisconsin etc offers
                NNaji- Wisconsin/Ohio State etc offers
                Terry - Stanford commit

Japannah Kellogg is the incoming freshman to Ames High that ISU already offered.
                1 Matthew Hurt 17.0 53 89 .596 22 32 .688 8 17 .471 136
                24 Zeke Nnaji 14.6 46 69 .667 18 29 .621 8 16 .500 117
                5 Tyrell Terry 12.9 30 45 .667 30 40 .750 13 27 .481 103

                10 Jamison Battle 7.9 23 55 .418 4 6 .667 13 40 .325 63
                33 Tyler Wahl 6.8 20 38 .526 11 16 .688 3 12 .250 54
                3 Japannah Kellogg III 3.6 10 20 .500 6 11 .545 3 10 .300 29
                21 Robert Jones 3.5 10 22 .455 7 15 .467 1 3 .333 28
                43 Nathan Brusseah 1.8 5 4 .250 0 0 .000 1 3 .333 7

Not sure I recognize any of the other names and doubtful we are recruiting a kid from Brooklyn.

Zeke Nnaji & Matthew Hurt with four baskets each, D1 Minnesota is up 32-23 on Brookfield Elite in game one of Adidas play. Assistants from Oregon, Texas, Syracuse, UCLA, Nebraska-Omaha, Northern Iowa, and Princeton (Skyelar Ettin) looking on as well.

Looking at Jamison Battle. Long athlete. Undecided between football and basketball at this point.

FWIW Kellogg is going to be a senior at Ames this year.

Thanks for the correction. Tamin Lipsey is the incoming freshman with the ISU offer.

Cole Henry got an offer from American the other day. I feel the coaching staff may want to offer him soon.

I like Henry as a 4 for 5. Get it done, Jake.

He's a lefty so obviously Jake will offer him.

Anybody got game film on him? All I can find is work out clips.
