His offers were North Dakota, NJIT, and UMKC. I believe the most recent of these was last August, so I'm guessing his senior season didn't really turn any heads.

He did actually have at least 1 other D-1 offer. So, at least it’s more promising than his brother. I’m not sure if he’d start at co college but he is 6’10 and in 3 years we might develop them both.

It should also be noted that even though he has a nice looking shot. He appears to have good touch, plays controlled, etc. But his 3 pt % this year was 29.6%. His FT % was 69%. It all looks good, but those percentages say the ball just doesn't go in enough yet.

I really did like what I saw in the highlight reel, and those highlights seem to show a kid that should've done more on offense. I like his length and he looks to have good athleticism. From looking at Cedar Falls's stats, they seem to play very unselfish ball. They also have a sophomore coming up named William Gerdes who is already around 6'8" and is getting plenty of looks. He was their leading scorer at 11.7 ppg. They just don't score a ton of points or they really spread it out.

Gerdes is friends with my son and they played together when my son still played basketball. Gerdes already has an offer from Nebraska.

Interesting nugget... Isaiah Johnson-Arigu, who we recruited hard out of Minnesota is entering the transfer portal from Miami. He's a 6'7" wing. I assume he will end up at a P5 program as he was also offered by multiple schools, but I really like his game.

Trilly usually knows so that's probably right.

However, I do wonder about Minnesota. They didn't offer him out of high school, but it seems inevitable that Ben Johnson is going to get fired at some point this season. My guess is Niko Medved gets one of the first calls and I wonder if a new staff would want to bring Isaiah back home.

Committed to Iowa per the DMR. Fran’s situation does make this worth watching. Seems like his family is getting tired of Iowa City, and the Iowa fans are getting tired of him.

Fran isn't leaving for a dollar less than they owe him

Going to be fascinating over the next few months down there. That building can't continue sit 2/3rds empty and Fran remain employed.

Iowa is a dead program. Their fans hate their coach, their coach hates their fans, they purchase 7-8 wins in the non-con, finish 20-12 and 8th in the B10 every year. People are done with it. He can't even get his own kids to play there anymore.

The fact that they play in half empty arenas every game and the Women are selling the place out for all of those games should tell you everything you need to know about that program.
