Not an offer, but still interesting to see interest in a guy when we're already over one scholarship for next year. Maybe long term thinking? Also, he's from South Carolina, I'm not sure I've ever seen us recruit a guy from that area of the country.

To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

For those who didn't see it, we have a new Spongebob Tuttle tweet. Seems awfully late if it was for Born 2, any guesses?

Doubt it’s Born. Tut usually posts SpongeBob before the verbal commit is public.

As a walk-on, which as far as anyone is aware Redek is, the staff can’t comment or mention anything about him until he’s on campus.

Maybe wishful thinking, but I'm going to guess it's good Phyfe news. We're full on recruits, so unless it's a 2024 kid, which seems unlikely, I don't see it being a recruit.

Edit - or maybe it's the AJ news

I'm guessing it's the AJ news, personally. That's pretty big, even if it doesn't effect our current team, that's a former UNI player who's now expected to be developed into a rotational player on one of the NBA's best teams.

Huh, was this guy on the radar at all? I don't remember seeing this name before.

Nvm I'm dumb, I see him now. Still, not someone I know much about.

Well I didn't see that coming. Seems like a good get though. I feel like a guy like him can learn a ton working with Tut.

                    • Jake is ensuring we don't have a year like last year again where we have zero size.

Another long, skilled kid. Just so excited right now.

                      • Holy cow, man. Hornseth is a player. No mistake that he is a big, though. He may be 6'8" but he looks like he could still be growing and he's already pretty thick. He has some skill, and I can absolutely see him running this offense at the top of the key. What a great time to be a Panther fan.

                            • Here's a fun youtube highlight video of Hornseth that was posted just a few days ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvfvaAKRyoA

Kid can get the ball in the bucket.

                              • Hornseth always seemed like the most realistic of our '24 offers. He seems like a solid add though.
