I mean, Schwieger is also 3 inches taller than Wolf. Hutty didn't see the floor hardly his last year at Loyola, we benefitted greatly from bringing him in

Riveria is interesting. 15.6 ppg on 46% shooting 41% from the 3 from a sneaky competitive UIC team could be exactly what the doctor ordered.

Hutty got caught in the coaching change. Schwieger didn't, the guy that recruited him decided he couldn't play.

I'm usually really optimistic, you guys know that, but if we have this chance to have a roster reset and put together the same roster with different names, we've failed. We greatly, greatly limit our ceiling and, frankly, I'm sick of thinking 4th is a pretty good year and I'm sick of being 5-6.

In an alternate world where AJ doesn't exist, we've had the worst roster in the league for a decade. Jake is really good on the bench but, for the love of God, get some talent so that we have something resembling margin for error.

Rivera is a baller. I watched him single-handedly win a late season game for them after their best player (name escapes me) fouled out. He can both shoot outside and take guys off the dribble. We really could’ve used him last year. It would be awesome to land him, and it would boost our overall athleticism.

We recruited Rivera out of high school when he went to Colorado St. We have been looking for guys that can get their shots and he can. I would be good with that one. Having said all that, I wouldn't hate for us to expand from the usual known commodities.

This is a new recruit, not a portal guy, but he's interesting for sure.
According to 247sports his only offers were FAU and Central Ark. I imagine he'll get more interest now that he's unsigned again.

Good point. I do think it's odd with the lack of offers but then Dusty May wanted him at FAU. He probably isn't a big enough recruit to go with him to Michigan, but I am really surprised more teams weren't in on him. He has some really good ability to put the ball in the hoop.

Prince Aligbe from Boston College is in the portal. We recruited him hard out of Minnehaha Academy. 6-7 slashing/physical wing.

Made 24 starts as a freshman before having some injury issues and a reduced role this year.
