Jake doesn't typically recruit junior college players. It takes a couple years to comprehend and implement Jakes system. And this isn't a knock on juco players as I was one back 30 years ago.

For what it's worth (and I won't bait you too much, it's not worth much), the site 24/7 Sports has a section where they get experts to pick which kid they think is going where, and 4/4 of them have AJ going to UNI. Two of them are national people, while the other two are more local (both of them based out of Wisconson, in fact).

Before you get super excited; The experts only average about 71% correctness. Which isn't terrible, but still not anything guaranteed. I have no idea what formula they're using, or if they're just going on old fashion guts.

Also of note, all four of the experts have an idea of where Joey Hauser is going, as well, with three of them saying Marquette, and one saying Wisconsin. The guy who said Wisconsin is the least accurate of the four of them at 69% correctness.

Again, literally meaningless, but experts are thinking AJ to UNI.

Still pretty interesting. I wonder how often they're right when they all pick the same place. Doesn't mean anything, but beats the doom and gloom about the prospects of his coming here according to this board sometimes.

Also, those accuracy numbers are probably based on their picks a lot closer to signing day, not a year out. Still a good sign though.

Having role players in starting positions, like the program used to have, won't get it done.
Wasn't Hunter Rhodes a JuCo transfer PG? From a national champion team?

Yeah, but he's a short white guy so some people don't count that

A div 2 jc team. Did the rest of the team come with him?

You're right. We've never had success with d-2 jucos. Good call.

                      Especially from places like Kirkwood.

Not what I said. This one isn't an impact player and doesn't appear to be better than the freshman so my point still stands

You think the player in question is an impact player like washpun at pg? Wow

Not exactly what I said but I enjoy watching you change your narrative. I think that he appears to be a solid back up pg and at times I feel more comfortable with him than JMc. I think JMc will be a very good player. We are a young team that has played the toughest schedule in the country so far. The George Mason loss is inexcusable and we might not be that good but it is way to early to tell and way too early for you to start the trolling. I would take you more seriously if I had ever seen you say anything positive about Panther Athletics.

It's also way too early to assume the George Mason loss is inexcusable. We're a young team, with some weaknesses...just because we're at home doesn't mean we should automatically beat a good team. GM could turn out to be better than you think. From memory, the same thing happened last year (?) against Hawaii (?). I remember everyone thinking the sky is falling after that loss early in the year, and Hawaii actually turned out to be a pretty good team.

The rebounding issue has got to be fixed. That's got to be Jake's issue #1, right? But, saying we should never lose to GM is not realism.
