I am thinking that Doug may get the Jason Bohannon treatment when he rolls into CF for the next few years...

What does P' think of this??

i dont think we are extrapolating the big ten rules...the rules posted on page 3 of this thread clearly say that they apply to a student who has "accepted" an offer of aid from a school.

@newsy- smith enrolled in prep school to keep his 5 year clock from starting.

So Doug goes to a 2 year prep school to play 4 years under his dad?

He would be the biggest moron in the world if he did that...

Can someone explain what you mean by "prep school?"

He can't go back to high school. His HS eligibility is used up. He can't go to a community college/juco, that "work around" is expressly prohibited by the MVC rules.

I'm just trying to figure out where they were going with it.

Again, Elgin needs to make a STRONG statement that this is NOT OKAY!!

I'm already making rough drafts for signs come the first creighton game in the McLeod Center. I may be tickets outside of my season tickets just to move right behind the bench.

Deal, count me in on that.
To avoid confusion - my username is baseball (Cy Young award) related, NOT for the Cyclones.

Yeah, for all of those other situations when a former valley coach takes over for a different program and his son has signed a letter of intent with the other school. Because that happens so often.

                            This misses the point somewhat.

You know what will make this all better, beating Creighton like a drum for the next 4-5 years.

I understand the feeling of wanting to take a stand on principle, but where does it get us? I don't see the upside. Does it help our team or our coach? Of course not, so why bother?
