I wonder where those Evansville players think they are going. I guess Division II and NAIA have some scholarships.

If you watch some highlights, he looked to be dominant in college, and did some serious stuff in the NBA too. It seems like he frequently put up a bunch of trick shots, awesome behind the back no look passes, etc. His highlights look like he was playing a game of HORSE, but he was routinely making those shots in college and NBA games, with a defender on him. Unfortunately that’s a name that only people above a certain age recognize.Originally posted by BCPanther View PostI think he should play as long as he can and break all of Maravich's records.
Can we acknowledge how completely stupid Maravich's records are? 3667 points in 3 years with no 3 point line. Averaged, AVERAGED, 44 per game. AVERAGED. Next best all time per game scoring average? Some dude named Oscar Robertson at 33.8.

Not surprising they would give him this number, if no one else presently on the team is wearing Panther Sports Lounge But it's just a "visiting photo" since he has not committed to any team yet.

Kwadzo has no recruiting history. Played at UNI, played oversees, video guy for the T'wolves for 4 years, one season as an assistant in the G League making far more than UNI can ever dream of offering. He's on a path to an NBA bench in the next 5ish years, not the "last" assistant at UNI.Originally posted by UNIpanther99 View PostSomeone outside the program could be helpful. Other the other hand, Kwadzo Ahelegbe could help keep that Twin Cities pipeline going.

I'm not saying it's 100% required, but I think it's helpful to have a demographically diverse coaching staff. All players on the team should have someone they can go to who might understand what they are dealing with.
Again, I think you go out and get the best coach you can --- but if our staff looks like the four members of a barbershop quartet, you know it will be used against us in recruiting.__________________

So Ali or Lansing is going to take that spot? I don't see UNI offering the kind of money that brings either of them to town and while CSU isn't P6, that school has loads of cash and it's in Fort Collins.Originally posted by clenz View Post
