When Carter signed I didn’t see it as that big of a deal, but after the season he has had I think he could do really big things for us. Not really what position he will play but he could also be a matchup problem.

Gotta like a kid like that.Originally posted by Blue42 View Post
Another kid to keep an eye on is 6'9" sophomore Angelo Winkel from Algona Garrigan.
He's been very vocal about wanting to play at UNI and visited not too long ago.

Entered the arena right behind Noah Carter. Last week I wouldn’t have known him vs. a hole in the wall but I had just watched the video posted a few posts above. Those guys got to experience a great environment, what the McLeod could be every night.Originally posted by Blue42 View PostNoticed Cole Henry and Noah Carter sitting behind the Panther bench tonight at the Loyola game.
Good luck to those boys next week.

Yes. Older sister Mikaela is a senior on the UNI WBB team this season, a starter most of the past three seasons as a guard.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post
Marcus Morgan from IC West that's listed there has to be a younger brother to JMo, right?

I'm still worried about the low release point and the tweener height, but dude looks like a gamer.Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post
He's way more skilled as a basketball player than Luke was. Marcus Morgan from IC West that's listed there has to be a younger brother to JMo, right?
A wide body setting screens is a HUGE help in our offense and can you imagine Carter with the ball in his hands after faking a handoff to a guard at the top of the key (instead of McDonnell's unathletic lanky frame)? He's got the aggressive skill set to be a threat for us in that spot, which we sorely need.

I noticed the release point, too. I think that's a knock on Patrick McCaffery, too and he's a Top 100 recruit. I think it's a fixable problem, when you look at what Isiah Brown has done to improve his release point since he came here.Originally posted by orangetennis View Post

Also, I'm picturing Cole Henry with ball in his hands at the top of key with an ability to get to the rim.

His sister, Mikayla, said he is by far the best athlete in their family and really likes baseball. Actually there’s an older sister ( the oldest of 5) who played DI ball and some WNBA ball. Not sure what she is doing now...Originally posted by Wxcpanther View Post

I believe Marcus Morgan was also the QB for ICW's football team as a sophomore.Originally posted by Panther'73 View Post

Nice article in the Gazette today about Krogmann. The link: https://www.thegazette.com/subject/s...n-far-20190304. Here's hoping he has an outstanding state tournament.
