Haven't heard about them until your post, but they appear to be putting up some good numbers at CR Prairie. It looks like they are only getting D2 interest so far (Upper Iowa and Truman State), so either the scouting evaluations aren't all that high or they could be limited by wanting to go somewhere as a package deal.Originally posted by SpanishMoon View PostWhy are we not offering Kenyon Murray's twins? Those young mens are going to be really good someday. Maybe not next year but some wait and muscle on them and watch them go to work.

It could also very much be a point that there isn't room - even as walk-ons.
There are 15 players on the roster this year
There are only 2 seniors - one of whom may be back next year
There are 6 players coming in next season - 3 walk-on 3 scholarship
Even if Miles doesn't get his medical hardship granted, there are 19 players set to be on the roster next season. That's MASSIVE by D1 standards. I wouldn't be shocked to see our true walk-ons not be part of the roster next year.

Can confirm that the two true walk ons will not be on the team in a playing capacity next year. They were brought in as practice bodies. Absolute kudos to them. Working that hard for no game night payoff is admirable.
Holterhaus's sister does come on campus with a scholarship in our flagship sport (VB).

I assume you are talking about the two walk-ons on this year's team, not the walk-ons listed as coming on to the team for next season. Is that correct?Originally posted by BCPanther View PostCan confirm that the two true walk ons will not be on the team in a playing capacity next year. They were brought in as practice bodies. Yes. Haynes and Holterhaus. The only true walk ons. We can call Conrey plus the group next year walk ons all we want but they're all still recruited players.Originally posted by Panther AC View Post

A little video on Noah Carter's 30 tonight.
He's a handful out there. Big body, deceptively quick and athletic, can shoot it deep.Last edited by Blue42; 02-26-2019, 09:55 PM.Winning is more fun than losing.

Another kid to keep an eye on is 6'9" sophomore Angelo Winkel from Algona Garrigan.Originally posted by domedays View PostBy my math There will be 5 UNI recruits at the State Tournament.

He's been very vocal about wanting to play at UNI and visited not too long ago.
