Guessing our list of young QBs in CF may have kept him from signing with us.

I believe we have several walk ons along with OL Jared Penning coming in the fall from that Clear Lake program. They've been good in football and hoops last few years.
    Fixed the post above.

is UNI on Raja Nelson WR Lakeville mn? hes on NDSU campus visit today

Guys like that are hard to find.

Gotta hand it to that coaching staff...they are still getting talent to Cedar Falls. Lots of it.

Looks like the Panthers also have a junior college OLB/SS named Jesse Smith joining the fall squad.

From Broward County, FL and played last season at Arizona Western and was gonna play at Hutch this fall til the Panthers offered.

Similar size to Spencer Perry who they just added.

        This is a 2019 add.

Any idea who else recruited him out of high school? If he played high school ball in Broward County then he played against some SERIOUS competition.

He was All Broward County in high school.

Don't know who offered out of high school. But he was being recruited by Nebraska recently and had been on a visit there but didn't get an offer.

Jovan Dewitt...who formerly coached at UNI..
was his lead recruiter with the Huskers. Perhaps that's how he got connected with UNI (just conjecture).

A couple of Des Moines players with UNI and other FCS level interest are Ryan Boles, OL from Dowling, and Waring, the QB from Des Moines Christian (2A school, not CIML). Both Waring and his top WR are getting interest from UNI, Illinois State, some MAC schools and also every DII school you can name. Also getting PWO type offers from Iowa and Iowa State but for defensive positions, and they want to play offense in college.

1460 KXNO in Des Moines does a nice job following recruiting with both their both their high school sports preview show at 6pm Friday nights, followed by their football Friday night show from 7pm - 10pm.

Panthers pick up a commitment from WR Tysen Kershaw out of Fort Dodge.

He had committed to the Coyotes but apparently flipped today.

That's a nice get for the purple.

Remember last year when Farley didn't want to post anything on the players who signed in December never understood that.

All the props in the world to whoever got him to change his stance on this.
"...the Northern Iowa men's basketball team reached the ultimate highs before hitting a devastating low. Unexpected success, followed by unimaginable failure. And they owned it -- all of it -- for the world to see. Like men. Like leaders. Like champions -- in a way no tournament bracket could ever define."

What I think is the last add of the day for the Panthers commits...

Jaylen Richardson...a RB out of KC. Had previously committed to KU but obviously that picture changed. Good get.

I was glad to see Jace Andregg on the list today as well. I was a little concerned when Kershaw announced he was coming to UNI that perhaps something changed with JA...but the Panthers got them both. Love it.

I think he plans on enrolling in January, I also think he competes for the starting spot.

I think that answer would be pretty obvious
